I go up the Virgin River and hike around.
ザイオン国立公園で川の中をさかのぼる。バージン川はこのうえなく清らかで、川が作り出した壮大な渓谷は果てしなく美しい。
Zion National Park:I went up the Virgin River. I was impressed by the flow of the clean river.
岩と木々と青い空。
Rock, trees and blue sky.
このうえなくキモチいいドライブ。
A pleasant drive.
園内はバスで移動します。
We move by bus in the park.
バス停から30分遊歩道を歩いてバージン川に向かいます。
It takes 30min. from bus stop on walking to the river side.
遊歩道沿いにバージンリバーが見えてきます。
Walking along a promenade, I see the Virgin River.
もうちょっと。
It is near.
遊歩道からちょいちょい川に降りられる道があります。
遊歩道の終点。ここからは川にインします。

みんなためらいもなくジャブジャブ入っていく！
Nobody has hesitation to go into the river.
水は清らかで冷たい。
The water of the river is so clean and cold.
川が創り出した景観が壮大。
The landscape which the river made is magnificent.
お魚が泳いでいる。深いところでちょっぴり泳いだ。
The fish is sailing. I swim in the deep place just a little bit.
さかのぼるごとに川幅はせまくなっていく。ここの地名「The Narrows」の由来。

ぜったいまた来る、キッズをつれて。
I made a promise,someday I return to this place once again with my kids.
ひとりでレンタカーを借りて、モーテルを止まり歩き、
アメリカのでっかい自然にいだかれて、
地球の豊かさ・壮大さ・厳しさと自分の小ささを実感したかけがえのない１週間。
